Long Beach Weightlifting presents the 2026 edition of our Summertime Meet Open to all ages and levels.

NON-SANCTIONED SESSIONS, FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th ONLY:

     1.  MALE (USAW MEMBER **Beginner**)      2.  FEMALE (USAW MEMBER **Beginner**)

 

USAW DIVISIONS:

AUGUST 8th:

MALE (USAW MEMBER **Beginner**) FEMALE (USAW MEMBER **Beginner**)

 

AUGUST 9th:

MALE (USAW OPEN) FEMALE (USAW OPEN) **Beginner competitors must NOT have competed in a meet OR if he/she has competed, he/she must have completed USAW Sanctioned Meets with totals BELOW the following 2026 VWS qualifications for PRIZE CONSIDERATION:

49 kg - 87kg

53 kg - 94kg

57 kg - 100kg

61 kg - 109kg

69 kg - 121kg

77 kg - 128kg

86 kg - 132kg

86+ kg - 138kg

 

*VWS Totals for Men

70 kg - 170kg

75 kg - 192kg

85 kg - 202kg

USAW BEGINNER SESSIONS WILL AWARD 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall per gender calculated by QPoints for Seniors, Masters, and Youth Athletes.

 

ANOTHER SET OF AWARDS WILL GO TO QPoint WINNERS FOR ALL SESSIONS PER GENDER REGARDLESS IF BEGINNER DIVISION OR OPEN DIVISION (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

FIRST DRAFT OF THE SCHEDULE will be announced JULY 3, 2026 or earlier. 

FINAL SCHEDULE WILL BE ANNOUNCED JULY 31, 2026

 

NO REFUNDS, but Substitutes or Credit for future events are considered.

 

USAW Members are required to bring a copy of your USAW MEMBERSHIP and wear a USAW Approved Singlet.
