Strength Against Hunger

in collaboration with Vehement Elite Athletics and Beach Box Training Co.

Join us for the 1st Annual Strength Against Hunger Weightlifting Meet, an inclusive Snatch and Clean & Jerk competition dedicated to raising funds and awareness for local food insecurity.

All skill levels are welcome, and first time competitors are encouraged to step on the platform.

If you have been looking for a way to get involved or give back to your community while doing what you love, this is the meet for you.

Why we’re hosting this meet We’ve partnered with Hunger Action LA, a nonprofit founded in 2006 focused on food justice and weekly food distributions supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurities.

All proceeds from this event will go directly toward their mission.

How athletes make an impact Athletes will compete in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk while also helping raise funds. Each athlete will have a fundraising goal of $250 and receive a personal donation link to share with friends and family.

Supporters can donate directly to an athlete’s page or contribute to Hunger Action LA.
