Hosted by CrossFit Anchor Down in Orange Beach, the Gulf Coast Games is built for athletes who love to test their limits, compete alongside their community, and experience the energy of competition day. Expect thoughtfully programmed workouts, a competitive atmosphere, and a whole lot of fun.
Our goal for this competition is to create a fun and entertaining event that brings together athletes from our surrounding communities.
Teams of 2
Grab your partner and get ready to push your limits together! This competition will consist of MM and FF teams.
Divisions:
RX: For the experienced CrossFit athlete. RX is for athletes who are proficient in all or nearly all CrossFit movements and can perform them safely, efficiently, and consistently.
Intermediate: For the well-rounded CrossFit athlete who is still building consistency. Intermediate is for athletes who have more or all of the CrossFit movements in their skill set, but may not yet be able to perform them consistently or efficiently.
Scaled: For newer competitors and athletes looking for a more approachable challenge. Scale is designed for athletes who may be newer to CrossFit, newer to competitions, or still developing foundational movement and skills. This division is also a great option for Masters athletes who prefer to compete at a more manageable level.
Whether you’re stepping onto the competition floor for the fist time or you’re a seasoned competitor, Gulf Coast Games is your chance to show up, throw down, and see what you’re made of. We encourage experienced competitors to challenge themselves by stepping up from their usual division.
