Vor der Kulisse des Adirondack Park in Lake Placid, Austragungsort zweier Olympischer Spiele, findet am 5. und 6. Juni 2027 die 2027 Adirondack Fitness Challenge statt. Die Workouts verlassen das klassische Studio-Umfeld und nutzen die umliegenden Wälder, Seen und Berge für funktionelle Fitnesstests.
Athleten können einzeln oder in gleichgeschlechtlichen Zweierteams antreten. Das Angebot umfasst Einzelwertungen in Scaled, Intermediate, Rx und Masters 40+ sowie Teamwertungen für Zweierteams in Intermediate und Rx. Die Teilnahmegebühren liegen zwischen 239 USD und 310 USD.
Die Anmeldung öffnet und schließt am 30. November 2026. Das Event richtet sich an Sportler der Leistungsstufen Intermediate und Rx. Für die bestplatzierten Rx-Teilnehmer ist ein Gesamtpreisgeld von 5.000 USD ausgeschrieben.
