Mac-Town Throw Down

The Mac-Town Throw Down is a competition designed to benefit the Forging Youth Resilience Mac-Town club located in McPherson, Ks. Forging Youth Resilience Mac-Town is a local nonprofit organization in McPherson County that provides access to kids and teens in McPherson County free CrossFit classes 4 days a week, year round.

Not everyone on the team needs to be able to do each of these things, but it would be best if at least 1 person can do each thing.  The weights for the barbell movements are just an indication of strength/skill level.  It’s not meant to mean anything more than that. And they are not the exact movements we will be doing.

Rx:  This is for people who can do most things Rx.  Gymnastics movements in the Rx division are basically suggesting that anything is on the table. 

Scaled & Teens (15-17 year olds):  This division is geared towards those who have been doing CrossFit for a while but require scaling a majority of the time.  It will be accessible to most people, especially if you have a partner who can handle the more challenging components.
