MPD Sgt William Kirby Memorial Hybrid Obstacle Police Chase

MPD Kirby Memorial Hybrid Police Chase presented by the MPPOA and FRVR Athletics, will be a hyrox style sim race.  Movements will be as follows:

C2 Row, Burpees, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, C2 Bike with a 1K run in between movements. 

Event takes place at the beautiful new Hudson Street Park overlooking Fort Meadow Reservoir.  Plenty of parking at the park and overflow parking within walking distance at the John J Navin Skating Rink on Bolton St.

MPD K9 Block Party begins at conclusion of race. Entertanment provided by the regions hottest band, Disco Lemonade!!  Food and beverage will be available for purchase.  Sam Adams draught beer is included in your race registraton.  Wrist band will be provided for access.

Race registration includes tee shirt and post race draft beer provided by Sam Adams.  

Individual or Partners

*weight on Farmers carry can be scaled

*weight on Lunge can be scaled (lower weight or bodyweight)

*Run can be scaled as a partner team (you go, I go) 

Race will be run in heats beginning at 9am.  Heats will go off every 15 minutes.  Should take individuals approximately one hour to complete course as prescribed.  Number of athletes per heat TBD. 

Race timing: 9am start - approximate 12pm finish.  MPD K9 Block party start 12pm-7pm.  Bring your own lawn chairs.
