MACC FEST

MACC FEST will take place on Saturday September 26th in the parking lot of 12 Labours CrossFit - Columbia in Columbia, MD.

MACC FEST will be returning for the 14th year. This community event originated in Maryland back in 2012 and our goal remains the same. We want to create an annual event in the region where every athlete could test their fitness, regardless of division.

MACC FEST has been reborn and will stay true to our roots by taking care of the community that supported the event for almost a decade. It will be a one day competition that hosts teams (2 men & 2 women) in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. Divisions will include Rx and Intermediate.

Address: 9017 Red Branch Rd Suite A, Columbia, MD 21045

The team captain will be responsible for registering all 4 teammates.

A team is comprised of 2 Men and 2 Women. 

 

Division Standards

As with all workouts, just having the skill is the first step. However, skills/weights associated with the athlete repeating them in a workout setting will dictate an team's success. Please review the writeup below prior to selecting the appropriate division at the MACC FEST.

Rx 

The Rx Division is for athletes that are completing the CrossFit Open as prescribed. This means there are no modifications of movements in workouts and can perform most CrossFit benchmark workouts as “Rx” at your affiliate.

Intermediate

The Intermediate Division is for athletes who may be able to complete some of the CrossFit Open workouts as “Rx” but not all. Teams in this category have the skill but may not have a ton of volume to support it. The overall work capacity or weights may be the limiter to achieve a higher level of performance.

There will be no refunds. Subsitutions only.
