Irish Fitness Championships

Ireland's longest-running functional fitness competition is back.

The Irish Fitness Championships brings the Irish Fitness Community together on September 19th & 20th for a full weekend of competition across eight divisions, back where we started— from first-time competitors to the sharpest athletes in the country. For the first time since 2022 we are returning to Waterford, Ire. Similar to last year we will be in a venue that will feature the APE Rig, Full Athlete Lanes and Production level details. 

Every detail is built around the athlete. Professional venue. Professional production. Full media coverage so you walk away with content that actually matches the effort you put in. Warm-up areas, spectator access, and event flow designed to keep the day moving — no dead time, no chaos.

High quality events. One stage. Judging standards that are the same whether you're in the first heat or the last.

Spots are limited across all divisions. Once a division fills, it's closed.

RX Individual and Inter Individual will compete over the full weekend. Scaled Teams will compete Saturday and Inter Teams will compete on Sunday.

Athlete Performance Events LTD The Irish Fitness Championships has been running since 2012 — the longest-running functional fitness competition in Ireland. APE Ltd has organised the event since 2023, with one focus: give every athlete the experience of competing at an event that feels international-grade, not local. Professional venues, media, consistent judging standards, and an event day built around the athlete. Since 2023 it has scaled from local gym comp to an International Standard event in purpose selected venues, based in Ireland.
