HYBRID - August 2026

Introducing HYBRID, our mixed pairs competition for hybrid and functional fitness athletes! If you like Hyrox or functional fitness, you’ll love this. Our HYBRID event features strength training, high intensity interval training, and endurance training giving you a fitness test like never before! The 3 top pairs from the day will will our podium prizes! 

 

Join us on Saturday 1st August 2026 at CrossFit Southampton, a huge functional fitness space on the South Coast. Each pair (same sex or mixed) will take part in 6x 10 minute workouts with 5 minutes of rest inbetween before rotating to the next station. You’ll be allocated a slot for the start of your 6x workouts nearer the time of the event. We will try to accommodate time slot changes where possible.

Event start slots will begin at 12pm on the 1st August 2026.

All four HYBRID workouts will be published soon, giving you a chance to practice them in advance. Entry is just £43 per person and can be purchased using the link below – places are very limited! No need to give your team names just yet if you’re not sure, we’ll remind you nearer the time.

Refreshments including top quality speciality coffee from our in-house coffee shop ‘The Coffee Box’, energy drinks and protein bars and fresh bakes will be available on the day.

Wall ball weight: 3kg (F) & 6kg (M) 

Plyo box height:  20inches (M&F)

Sandbag carry and GTOS: 20kg (F) 40kg curd bags (M)

Sled push: 50kg (F) 70kg (M)

Kettlebell farmers carry: 2x 12kg (F) 16kg (M)

Dumbbell Snatch 10kg (F) 15kg (M)

American Kettlebell Swings 12kg (F) 16kg (M)
