The UK Teen Throwdown & The Next Generation
As the UK’s Teen CrossFit community continues to explode, we’re witnessing a powerful shift—athletes who’ve been lifting, learning, and lunging since they were knee-high are now competing alongside teens who’ve only just discovered the barbell. This competition caters for all.
The 2026 Categories:
8–11 Pairs – Any gender combination (MM / FF / MF)
12–13 Singles – Mixed gender category
14–17 Female – Scaled
14–17 Female – RX
14–17 Male – Scaled
14–17 Male – RX
THE STANDARDS
RX:
All gymnastics,
You will be expected to be able to recycle (6 reps upwards) of weights upto 80kg/55kg
Scaled:
Athletes competing in the scaled division will be able to perform TTB & Pull Ups or there will be a scaled version released on the day and a point system implemented to ensure a fair playing field.
Barbell Weights will be to 50kg and 35kg for recycling (over 6 reps) - under that may involve higher weights on the day.
This division is designed to be accessible and variations will be offered to suit the less experienced athlete
