Welcome to the Nepean Classic

The Nepean Classic is back.

Hosted by Nepean CrossFit, the Nepean Classic is Western Sydney's premier fitness competition, bringing together athletes from across NSW for an unforgettable day of teamwork, fitness and competition.

Whether you're chasing the podium or entering your very first competition, the Nepean Classic has a division for you.

Who Can Compete? Everyone is welcome.

CrossFit athletes, functional fitness athletes and anyone with the required movement standards are encouraged to enter.

Whether you train at an affiliate, a commercial gym or somewhere in between, we'd love to have you on the competition floor.

Not competing?

Come along and support. Spectators are free and encouraged.

Registration Fee $300 per team

Every registered athlete receives:

Official Nepean Classic Athlete T-Shirt Competition Entry (Athletes registering after 4th September 2026 are not guaranteed an event t-shirt.)

Workouts Workouts will be released in the weeks leading up to the competition, with a few surprises saved for competition day.

Programming will test all aspects of fitness including:

Strength Gymnastics Conditioning Teamwork Strategy Communication Expect workouts inspired by the CrossFit methodology with a strong emphasis on working together as a team.

Movement Standards RX Athletes should be comfortable performing movements such as: (These movements are not guaranteed to be in the event)

Bar/Ring Muscle-ups (min 1M + 1F) Strict Handstand Push-ups (min 1M + 1F) Handstand Walk (min 1M + 1F) Toes to Bar (ALL) Double Unders (ALL) Clean - 185/135# (84/61kg) Snatch - 155/105# (70/47.5kg) Deadlifts - 315/215# (143/97kg) Rowing

Beginner / Intermediate Athletes should be comfortable performing movements such as: (These movements are not guaranteed to be in the event)

Pull ups (min 1M + 1F) Kipping HSPU (min 1M + 1F) Wall Walk (min 1M + 1F) Toes to Bar (min 1M + 1F) Double Unders (min 1M + 1F) Clean - 115/85# (51/38kg) Snatch - 95/65# (43/30kg) Deadlifts - 225/155# 102/70kg) Rowing *Movements in this category can be further scaled; this, however, will result in the score for that specific workout being lower than all other workouts performed as requested.

Judging This is a community event and as such, teams must be able to supply a minimum of two judges per event to judge other teams. 

Athletes are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect throughout the event.

Spectators Spectators are welcome all day.

Food, coffee, vendors and sponsors will be on site throughout the event.
