Organiser’s description
Published by the organiser on competitioncorner.net
10 years ago on November 2nd, 2016, Officer Justin Martin, a member at our gym, was killed in the line of duty. Every year since then we have hosted the Justin Martin Memorial competition to remember and honor him. All proceeds go to the Urbandale Police Department Benevolence Fund for the families of officers killed in the line of the duty. We hope this year is our biggest year yet to make sure he is never forgotten.
The 10th annual Justin Martin Memorial Competition is a team of 2 competition. There will be Rx and scaled divisions with teams consisiting of M/M, F/F, or M/F pairings. There will be a total of 3 workouts, with the final workout being our gym's hero WOD "Officer Martin". This competition is for the community, and we hope to have as many people as possible sign up and participate.
