While the CrossFit Games season provides the official structure, it is the thousands of independently-organized throwdowns across Europe that make CrossFit competition accessible to athletes at every level — from first-timers to seasoned competitors.

European competitions are distributed across two main seasons:
For elite athletes, Europe hosts two CrossFit Semi-Finals each season. These are live, in-person events where the top qualifiers from the European Quarterfinals compete for spots at the CrossFit Games. Locations vary year to year but have historically included venues in Spain, Germany, and the UK.
Masters, Teens, and Adaptive athletes competing in the Games pathway complete their European-specific Online Semifinals before advancing to the Games. The European CrossFit community has consistently produced top Games athletes — European athletes regularly finish on the Games podium.
The most active market in Europe. ScoringFit is the dominant platform, alongside Competition Corner. Events run year-round with peaks in March–May and September–November. Regions with the highest density: Île-de-France, Occitanie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
