The Cape Fear Classic is coming October 10th for a full day of competition, challenging workouts, and serious cash on the line.

The competition will feature three divisions with only 10 co-ed teams available in each division. Registration is $180 per team and spots are extremely limited, so we expect registration to move quickly.

Divisions & Cash Prizes RX — 10 Teams 1st Place: $2,500 Cash Prize

Our RX division is designed to be more difficult than the standard RX division you may be accustomed to at a local competition. Expect higher skill requirements, heavier loads, and workouts designed to test well-rounded competitive athletes.

Intermediate — 10 Teams 1st Place: $1,500 Cash Prize

Our Intermediate division will be closer to what you would traditionally expect from an RX division at a local competition. Athletes should be comfortable with a broad range of functional fitness movements and moderate-to-heavy loading.

Scaled — 10 Teams 1st Place: $1,000 Cash Prize

Scaled is a true scaled division. This division is designed for athletes who want the full competition experience without needing traditional RX-level skills or strength requirements.

Movement standards provided during registration are intended to establish a baseline for each division and are not an exhaustive list of movements that may appear in competition.

All teams must be co-ed.

The Cape Fear Classic will run from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Additional information regarding event vendors, athlete schedules, spectator details, and parking will be released as we get closer to competition day.

With only 30 total team spots — 10 per division — registration is expected to move quickly. Get your partner lined up and secure your spot before your division fills.
