The Backland Games 2026

Join us for the third year of The Backland Games (August 15 & 16, 2026), hosted by CrossFit Backland, in partnership with HillerFit. This is a two day competition, including one outdoor field day (near Downers Grove, IL) and one indoor day (at CrossFit Backland in Downers Grove, IL). This is unlike other events out there and will be an awesome opportunity to test your fitness in a competitive, fun environment. Did someone say track events?

Two Days:

• Outdoor field day (August 15: ~8:00am - 3:00pm)
• Indoor day (August 16: ~8:00am - 3:00pm)

Three Divisions: 

• Elite Male/Female
• RX Male/Female
• Intermediate Male/Female

High Quality Judging:

• Paid Judges

We'll be releasing workouts and the prize purse leading up to the event. See division standards for more information. Stay tuned!
