The CFL Weightlifting Competition combines the joy of lifiting weights in the movement of the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk in a local Crossfit Box with an exciting accessible format.
In different categories male and female lifters face weight ladders (5 standardized weights) before getting to the final individual weight that the athlete can choose and has the chance to increase 3 times if the lifts are successfull
So to reach the "final 3 indiviual weights" the athlete has to get through the standardized weights successfully.
There are 3 different categories:
Male
Beginner: Snatch 45 +/- 5 kg (40-50) Clean & Jerk 55 +/-5 kgs (50-60)
Intermediate: Snatch 75 +/- 5 kg (70-80) Clean & Jerk 100 +/- 5 kg (95-105)
Advanced: Snatch 100 +/- 5 kg (105-110) Clean & Jerk 120 +/- 5 kg (125-130)
Female
Beginner: Snatch 30 +/- 5 kg (25-35) Clean & Jerk 40 +/-5 kgs (35-45)
Intermediate: Snatch 45 +/- 5 kg (40-50) Clean & Jerk 55 +/- 5 kg (50-60)
Advanced: Snatch 65 +/- 5 kg (60-70) Clean & Jerk 80 +/- 5 kg (75-85)
At sign up need to provide is your current 1 RM of the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk.
