Battle for the Midlands - Same Sex Pairs
On Sunday, April 26th, 2026, we will be hosting a Same Sex Pairs competition at Cattle Dog CrossFit.
We will have 3 Categories - Rx, Intermediate, and Scaled.
Movement Standards
Rx
All athletes would be expected to have completed The Open at Rx in 2025.
Intermediate
Both athletes should be confident with TTB and Pull Ups
Athletes should be confident with all cycling barbell movements at 42.5/30kg (Snatch and Clean + Jerk, all variations).
Deadlift 80/55kg
All DB movements – 1 x 22.5/15kg
Box Jumps - 24/20”
Wall Walks – Open Standard
Wall Balls – 9/6kg
Worm – 50kg
Scaled
One athlete should be confident with small sets of TTB and Pull Ups, however, there will be non-penalising scaling options provided.
Athletes should be confident with all cycling barbell movements at 35/25kg (Snatch and Clean + Jerk, all variations).
Deadlift 60/45kg
All DB movements – 1 x 15/10kg
Box Ste Ups - 24/20”
Wall Balls – 6/3kg
Worm – 50kg
Please note that we have outlined a minimum set of movement standards for each category; this does not mean we will limit live event workouts to these movements alone.
