Winter dragged on… and we’re officially over it. Grab your partner, crank the music, and leave the winter blues on the floor.
The IceBreaker Throwdown 2026, hosted by Domain CrossFit in Medicine Hat, Alberta, is a male/female teams of two competition built for EVERY athlete — from “this is my first comp” to “let’s send it.” This event is all about teamwork, sweat, and shaking off winter with workouts that challenge you without crossing into chaos.
Expect fun, fiery workouts with smart progressions, a loud and supportive atmosphere, and a crowd that cheers every rep — not just the heavy lifts. No ego. No intimidation. Just people working hard together and having a damn good time.
Divisions (Male/Female Teams of Two)
Foundation New athletes — this is your lane. Foundational movements, approachable workouts, and the perfect chance to compete, have fun, and build confidence alongside your partner.
Intermediate For athletes who want a challenge without the pressure. Scaled movements, solid intensity, and workouts that reward grit, consistency, and teamwork.
RX For experienced athletes ready to throw down. Heavier loads, higher skills, and workouts that demand fitness, communication, and strong execution.
Masters (Combined Team Age 85+) Experience counts here. Smart programming, familiar movements, and manageable loads designed to challenge fitness while rewarding pacing, teamwork, and grit. Strong, capable, and absolutely not to be underestimated.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about effort, energy, and walking out fired up instead of frozen.
