The Fit Mumma Classic 2026
The Fit Mumma Classic is an all-levels, pairs, functional fitness competition created by mums, for mums.
Whether this is your first ever competition or you’re an experienced athlete, Fit Mumma is designed to be welcoming, supportive and fun, with divisions that make sense and allow every mum to compete with confidence.
New for 2026:
This year we’ve refined the competition structure to make choosing a division simpler, competition fairer and the pathway to the podium more exciting.
Divisions
*All Performance teams complete Workout 1. The Top 8 teams progress to the Advanced bracket, with the remaining teams competing in the Intermediate bracket for the remainder of the competition. This ensures fair and balanced competition across similar skill levels.
Competition format Athletes will complete 3 workouts. One workout will include Part A and Part B with Part B being a lifting complex completed immediately afer Part A.
Podiums awarded for:
Giving back
As always, Fit Mumma proudly gives back to the community.
10% of all ticket sales, along with funds raised through raffles, will be donated to Bears of Hope – Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support, helping families through some of their most challenging moments.
This year, our fundraising has a special connection to our host gym community. More details will be shared closer to the event.
Location We’re excited to once again partner with the incredible community at CrossFit Iron Barbell, Meadowbrook and can’t wait to welcome you to the 2026 Fit Mumma Classic.

FAQs 1. Who qualifies as a mum?
If you care for a small human as a mum, step-mum or foster mum, you qualify. Grandmas are absolutely welcome too 💙
2. Can I substitute my partner if they’re injured or sick?
Yes. You’ll need to email us the new partner’s name and email address, and ensure they complete a waiver before competing. They must also qualify as a “mum” (see above).
3. Are refunds available if we can no longer compete?
Unfortunately, refunds are not available. However, entries can be transferred to another team. Optional insurance is also available at checkout.
4. I usually compete in an intermediate division - will I be able to do the Performance workouts?
Yes. Performance workouts are written with intermediate athletes in mind. All required movements will be achievable, with higher-skill options available for teams seeking extra points.
5. I’m an advanced athlete - can I choose to enter Performance Advanced?
Performance Advanced places are earned, not selected. All Performance teams will complete Workout 1, which will determine the top 8 teams, earning them a place in the Performance Advanced division for the remainder of the competition.
6. Will I know the workouts before I register?
Yes! This year we are releasing the workouts before ticket sales on 13 February 2026. That gives you a week to look at the movments, chat to your partner and decide which division suits you best.
7. Can family and kids come to watch?
Absolutely - bring the whole crew! Please ensure children are supervised at all times and remain out of the warm up and competition area.
8. Will we have to judge?
No. We provide volunteer judges so you can focus on competing. Please give these legends a high-five and if you know someone who’d love to help, the volunteer sign up is here on the site.
9. Masters division eligibility To qualify as a Masters athlete, you must be 35+ on the day of competition. Masters divisions compete at the same prescribed standards within their chosen division (Scaled or Performance).
10. Do we need a team name? Absolutely. Bonus points for creativity :)
