2026 MASTERS LEAGUE OPEN COMPETITION DATES

  • January 23rd – ML26.1 (Workout Released: 4:30 PM AEDT | Score Submission Deadline: January 29th, 10:00 PM AEDT)

 

  • January 30th – ML26.2 (Workout Released: 4:30 PM AEDT | Score Submission Deadline: February 5th, 10:00 PM AEDT)

 

  • February 6th – ML26.3 (Workout Released: 4:30 PM AEDT | Score Submission Deadline: February 12th, 10:00 PM AEDT)

 

  • February 13th – ML26.4 (Workout Released: 4:30 PM AEDT | Score Submission Deadline: February 19th, 10:00 PM AEDT)

Registration Registration will remain open until January 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM AEDT.

Age Categories Masters League athletes will compete in the following age brackets: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.

  • Age Eligibility: If you are 34 but will turn 35 before October 31, 2026, you are eligible for the 35-39 age category. Similarly, those turning 45 before October 31, 2026, should enter the 45-49 age category.

Divisions Participants must select a division based on their skill level: Soldier (Beginner), Warrior (Intermediate), or Hero (Advanced). Please refer to the divisions page for more details.

Open Workouts Four open workouts will be released, with one week to complete each workout (four weeks total). Workouts can be performed at your local affiliate, gym, or training facility. Movement standards will be provided, and each workout must be judged and verified by a certified judge or coach.

  • Repetitions: You may complete each workout as many times as desired within the one-week window. After submitting a verified score, you’ll be able to track your progress on the leaderboard alongside other athletes within your division and across national and international categories.

 

  • Video Requirement: Please record all workouts. If your score is flagged, you’ll need to submit the video for verification by a Masters League judge.

Team Eligibility Teams consist of mixed pairs (M/F) and must perform Open tests separately. Partner A & Partner B scores will then be combined.

  • Team Divisions: Select your division as Soldier, Warrior, or Hero based on your ability.

 

  • Team Age Groups: Teams will compete in the age brackets 35-39, 40-49, and 50+.

 

  • Score Submission: Team captains are responsible for submitting scores by the deadline. For further team information, visit the Teams page.

Leaderboard Track your ranking live on the Masters League Open leaderboard, available on our website at www.mastersleague.com.au. The top male and female athletes in each division will be invited to the Masters League Games.

2026 Masters League Invitational

  • Date: May 2nd or 3rd, depending on venue availability
  • Stage: In-person qualifying event
  • Format: Top 5 live event with venues confirmed per state (Australia) and region (New Zealand). International athletes will qualify through an online event.

2026 Team Series Invitational

  • Date: May 14th-19th
  • Stage: Online qualifying event
